Indian Space Research Organisation [ISRO] of the Department of Space [DOS] is looking for young, dynamic and dedicated candidates for filling-up the posts of ASSISTANTS (administrative support staff) in the Pay Band of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2,400/- for filling-up in various ISRO Centres/Units, across India.
How to Apply : The application for on-line registration will be hosted in the ISRO web-site between 17-07-2014 and 07-08-2014. Candidates may visit our web-site at www.isro.gov.in to register their applications on-line between 17-07-2014 and 07-08-2014. Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be provided in the application CORRECTLY and compulsorily. For those already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies, the on-line application has to be invariably followed-up with a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, duly indicating the name and Reg. No. on the reverse.
Application fee : There will be an Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only). After registration of application on-line, the candidates have to down-load and print the personalized payment challan form, in triplicate, from the ISRO system/link which will contain the Name of the candidate, Registration Number, Receipt Account Number, Advertisement No. and Post Code. The candidates have to visit the nearest branches of State Bank of India for remittance of application fee to Receipt Account No.32034064593 by using the personalized payment challan of State Bank of India on any day between 17-07-2014 and 08-08-2014. The candidates may down-load and print the personalized payment challan from the ISRO web-site on any day between 17-07-2014 and 07-08-2014 and remit the application fee before the prescribed last date ie., 08-08-2014. Upon remittance of the application fee, one part of the challan form will be retained by State Bank [Bank copy] and remaining two parts will be given to the candidate. Out of the two challan parts, the candidate has to send one part of the challan form [ISRO copy] to Administrative Officer (ICRB), ISRO Headquarters, Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bangalore -560 094 by ‘ORDINARY POST ONLY’ superscribing on the envelope “ICRB – RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT” within 7 days of filing of application and in any case not later than 14-08-2014. The remaining one part of challan form [Applicant copy] shall be retained by the candidate for future reference. The payment shall be made through cash deposit only. Payment of Application Fee in any other form like Cash, Cheque, Demand Draft, Money Order, IPO, etc. are not allowed.  Selection Process :The qualification prescribed is the MINUMUM requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidates eligible to take-up the written test. Based on the academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be conducted and a higher cut-off percentage may be adopted to short-list candidates for taking-up written test. The written test will be conducted on 12-10-2014 [Sunday] at seven venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. However, the Organisation reserves the right tocancel/change the written test venue and re-allot the candidates to any other test centre. The call letters for written test to the short-listed candidates will be sent only by e-mail during the first week of October, 2014. Based on the academic performance, performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for interview, the schedule and venue of which will be notified. Those who secure minimum 50% marks each in both objective and descriptive type questions in the written test will be considered for short-listing for interview. However, depending upon the vacancies to be filled-up in each zone, a higher cut- off percentage may be prescribed. Those who secure minimum 50% marks each in written test and interview with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks will be considered for empanelment in the order of merit, subject to number of vacancies notified. In case, sufficient number of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-servicemen candidates are not available for filling-up the vacancies reserved for these categories, relaxation will be extended to candidates belonging to the respective category, to make good the short-fall.
Pay and Allowances : Selected candidates will be appointed as Assistant in the pay band of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2,400/-. The gross emoluments in the minimum of pay band will at present be approximately Rs.19,820/- p.m. In addition, House Rent Allowance [HRA], Transport Allowance at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid for those who are not availing Departmental Housing and Transport facility, respectively. The employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme. The Organisation provides for excellent growth potential for the right individuals through its performance review system which ensures that a good performer gets the promotion. On employment in ISRO, other facilities are available such as medical facilities for self and dependants, subsidized canteen, transport allowance when official transport is not availed, limited housing facility for fresh entrants in lieu of HRA, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, advances for purchase of conveyance, construction of house, etc. as per Central Government orders.
Other Conditions/Instructions :
  1. The posts are temporary, but likely to continue.

  3. Candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed to and fro second-class train fare by the shortest route from the city indicated in the on-line application form to the place of interview (change of address and city for the purpose will not be entertained).

If any information furnished on-line is found to be wrong or false, the candidate will not be interviewed and TA will not be paid.

Sou$ Western Railway proposes to engage full time Medical Practitioners on contrxt basis for a period of one year on South We*ern Raihrvay by condtrting walk-in-interviarr for open rnarket cardlCates and al* Retired Railway Doctor#Retired Government Medhal Officers of State Government.
  1.  Eligibility Criteria/Qualification :  General Duty Doctors: (For opr market candlCats and Retired Railway DoctorslRetired Governrnent Medical Officers of State Government) The candidate shouH be M.B.B.S and shouH be in possession of a valid Registration Ceftificate of any of the State Medhal Courrcil of Inda after completion of 01 year Compulmry rotatory internship.
  2. Age: (i) For open nrarket candidak: ShouH not have complded more Sran 50 years as on 21.S.2014. Horvever, age relaxation is admissible uSo five years to SC/ST candidates. (ii) for Retired Railway Docbrc/Retired Goverrrnent I upto ihe age of 65 years Medical Officers of Stah Govemment J reckoned as on 21.06.2014.

Honorariurn : (i) For open market candid#r: t. 55,000/- per month fixed. (ii) For Retircd Railway Doctors/Retired Government Medkal Officers of State Governnrent: Fixed remuneration of Rs..16,000/- per rnonth (zubjet to the cordition ti.at Remunerationrpension drawn by retired Railway doctors/Retired Government Medhal Officers of Shte Governnent shouH not exceed the last pay drantn).
Terms and conditions:
  1. The engngement of Doctors wouH be on full time contract basis for a period of one year or till regularly selected ADMOs are available which ever is earlier. Further the service of these Drctors are also terrnlnable before expiry of one year by either side after giving 15 days notrce. The servics rende,-ed as contract drtors is a stop gap arrarqemerrt ard wili not have any bearirE in respt of consideration of their period of service in case of rqular selectim through USC. It will also not confer any right for rryularizatlon or absor$ion.
  2. No private practice is allcxrved.
  3. The contrmt doctors shall not be srtitled for Raihvay Quarter dc., as a matter of rght. Hcnsever if available tiey will k provided xcommodation. If Government mcommodation is provi*d an amount equivalent to the sum ol Ho.rse Rent Atfaararre and license fee of the accommodatbn so provided will be dedwted.
  4.
