Vacancy details: There are total 58 posts of Sub inspector works which includes 26 posts of Un-reserved candidates, 13 posts for OBC candidates, 11 posts for SC candidates and 08 posts for the ST candidates. 10% vacancies reserved for the ex-servicemen candidates.

Education qualification: The candidates who are passed the three year diploma in the civil engineering stream from the recognized institute by the central government or state government are eligible for BSF recruitment of Sub inspector posts.

Selection process: Selection will be made for the posts of Sub inspector in BSF according to the written examination. The syllabus for written examination of BSF Sub inspector posts is general intelligence 25 questions, general awareness 25 questions and general engineering 50 questions of related to civil engineering branch.
