Age Limit: 21 to 30 Years as on 01.08.2014 i.e he/she must have born not earlier than 02.08.1984 and not later than 01.08.1993. Age Relaxation as per Govt Rules.
Compensation Package: Selected candidates will be on training for a period of one year. They will be placed in the IDA pay scale of Rs.20600-46500 during the training period with starting basic pay of Rs.20600/-.
Educational Qualifications: Full Time Graduate in the relevant Engineering discipline i.e. Civil/ Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates), or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all the semesters from an AICTE approved University/Institute.
Selection Process: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE 2014 score for holding personal interview of the candidates. The candidates who have registered for GATE 2014 in their respective discipline i.e. Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering are eligible to apply for GET 2014. Candidates will be required to submit their original GATE - 2014 score card for verification at the time of Interview.
Selection Weightage -> GATE-2014 Score - 75%; Personal Interview - 25%. Qualifying marks in Interview -> Unreserved (General) - 60%; Reserved (SC/ST/OBC) - 50%.
Application Fee: Rs.500/- for General/OBC; Rs.100/- for SC/ST; No fee for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
How to apply: Interested candidates are required to apply online in the registration format through RITES Website between 27/01/2014 and 25/02/2014.
While submitting the online application the system would generate 'Registration No.' on the top of such filled online form . A copy of this form containing the registration number is to be printed, signed, and furnished along with copy of GATE 2014 admit card, attested copies of educational, experience certificates , 2 recent passport size color photographs, all supporting certificates applicable for age relaxation and fee relaxation & RITES copy of payment challan to AGM(P)/Rectt., RITES Ltd., RITES Bhawan, Plot No.1, Sector-29, Gurgaon - 122001 through speed post. The Last date for receipt of applications is 10/03/2014.
